Performance and Accuracy
The RL-H5A delivers horizontal leveling accuracy of ±1/16 inch per 100 feet (±1.5 mm at 30 meters) and self-levels automatically within ±5 degrees of level. The rotating laser head provides a 360-degree reference plane with variable rotation speeds from 0 to 600 RPM. Use slower speeds for better visibility indoors and faster speeds for extended range outdoors. The included LS-80L receiver extends working range to 2,600 feet diameter (800 meters) in typical conditions.
NiMH Rechargeable Battery System
This PS.RB kit includes a factory NiMH rechargeable battery pack and AC charger. NiMH chemistry provides reliable performance across a wide temperature range and withstands the charge/discharge cycles common in daily construction use. Expect 50-80 hours of runtime per charge depending on rotation speed and environmental conditions. The rechargeable system pays for itself in battery savings within the first year of regular use and eliminates the need to stock and dispose of alkaline batteries.

LS-80L Receiver Capabilities
The LS-80L is a digital receiver with a backlit LCD screen and audible beeper for on-grade indication. It displays high/low positioning relative to the laser plane and provides millimeter-level precision for accurate grade setting. The receiver clamps to grade rods, leveling rods, or machine masts, allowing hands-free operation during forming, grading, or alignment tasks. Detection range is up to 1,300 feet radius (400 meters) from the laser.
