1. Overview

Express Tools (420 Industrial Blvd, Nash TX 75569) is required by law to collect and remit sales tax in states where we have established a tax nexus. Tax is calculated at checkout based on the destination address of your order and the applicable state and local tax rates in effect at the time of purchase.

If no sales tax is charged on your order, it does not necessarily mean your purchase is exempt from tax. You may be required to self-report and pay use tax directly to your state tax authority. Please consult your tax advisor if you are unsure of your obligations.

• Tax is calculated on the destination address you provide at checkout.
• The rate applied reflects the combination of state + county + city + special district rates in effect at the time of the order.
• Sales tax applies to the product subtotal. Shipping charges may also be taxable depending on state law.
• The exact tax amount is displayed before you confirm your order.
• Tax rates are subject to change — we apply the current statutory rate at the time your order is placed.

4. Tax-Exempt Orders

To claim a tax exemption, email legal@expresstools.com with your exemption certificate or resale number before placing your order. We will verify your exemption and configure your account accordingly.

5. Tax on Returns and Refunds

When you return an eligible item and receive a refund, any sales tax originally collected will be included in your refund.
