Workplace Standards
Human & Workplace Rights
Express Tools is committed to fair, safe, and respectful working conditions for everyone who works at, with, or through our business. This statement describes our baseline expectations — and those we hold our supply chain partners to as well.
Effective: July 2026 · Questions: ethics@expresstools.com
1. Equal Opportunity
Express Tools provides equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
Hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and all other employment decisions are based on job-related qualifications and business need — never on personal characteristics unrelated to the work.
2. Anti-Harassment & Anti-Discrimination
We do not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind — verbal, physical, or visual — whether it originates from employees, managers, contractors, customers, or other third parties interacting with our team.
Any employee who experiences or witnesses harassment or discrimination should report it immediately to management or to our ethics email address. Every report is investigated promptly. We do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
3. Safe Working Conditions
We are committed to maintaining a workplace free of recognized health and safety hazards. We comply with all applicable OSHA regulations and industry safety standards, and we encourage employees to raise safety concerns without fear of reprisal.
Working hours, rest periods, and compensation comply with all applicable federal and Texas state labor laws.
4. No Forced or Child Labor
Express Tools does not use, benefit from, or knowingly support any form of forced, compulsory, bonded, or trafficked labor. Employment at Express Tools is voluntary. Employees are free to resign with reasonable notice and without penalty.
We do not employ minors below the minimum working age established by applicable law, and we do not place minors in roles that could harm their health, safety, or development.
5. Freedom of Association
We respect employees' rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not take adverse action against employees for organizing, joining, or supporting employee associations or labor organizations.
6. Supplier & Partner Expectations
We expect the suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners we work with to uphold standards consistent with this statement. Where we have visibility into labor practices in our supply chain, we look for evidence of legal compliance, voluntary employment, safe working conditions, and fair compensation.
As an authorized dealer — not a manufacturer — our direct supply chain is primarily composed of established global brands (Topcon, Trimble, Leica, Spectra Precision, Sokkia) who maintain their own published human rights and labor standards. We rely on those standards, supplement them with our own due diligence where appropriate, and reserve the right to discontinue relationships that do not meet acceptable standards.
For our full supplier expectations, see the Responsible Sourcing Policy.
