PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Product Description

Leica DA Series › DA300 Signal Transmitter › DD300 Connect Companion

Put a Signal on Any Buried Line. Maximum Output. Six Frequencies.

Passive detection finds live cables. The Leica DA300 is what you use when you need to find everything else — dead cables, de-energized mains, metallic pipes with no current. Connect to any metallic service and the DD300 locates it, measures its depth, and traces its route to within ±5% accuracy.

With six operating frequencies including the exclusive 131 kHz and 83 kHz modes available only on the DD300 Connect system, the DA300 delivers performance no other transmitter in the DD series can match. 1 Watt in both induction and direct connection modes. IP67 waterproof whether open or closed.

Pair it with the DD300 Connect Depth Package for the complete professional locating system.

Key Features

Leica DA300 1-Watt Signal Transmitter

Exclusive 131kHz & 83kHz

These two high frequencies work exclusively with the DD300 Connect. Dramatically improved signal discrimination on complex utility networks with multiple buried services.

1 Watt — Induction & Connection

Maximum output in both induction mode (transmitter placed on ground) and direct connection mode (cable, clamp, or property plug). Same 1W in both.

IP67 Waterproof

Fully protected whether the case is open or closed. The DA175 is IP65 open / IP67 closed — the DA300 is IP67 either way. Built for wet job sites.

512Hz & 640Hz — Long Distance

Low-frequency modes for tracing long cable runs where higher frequencies lose signal strength. Essential for municipal and large-site utility mapping.

Optional Li-Ion Battery

A100/A140 charger available separately. Li-Ion pack reduces weight from 2.70kg to 2.38kg — lighter for all-day field use with 15-hour runtime.

LED Feedback Panel

Battery, connection mode, frequency, and power output all indicated by LED. Audio tone confirms connection quality — constant tone means good output.
